Who We Are
Capalbo Strong was founded in 2017 by a team of Fairfield Prep (mostly) hockey moms in support of Charlie Capalbo during his first battle with cancer. Against all odds, Charlie beat cancer three times (Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Leukemia). Sadly, he lost his fourth battle at 24 years young.

Throughout his five-year journey he gracefully and openly shared his story, and consistently inspired a community and beyond, with his positivity, humor, resilience and grit.

At this time all funds raised go directly to pediatric cancer research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Boston Children's Hospital, where Charlie was treated from 2018 until he passed away in April 2022.

Capalbo Strong is currently in the process of applying for 501c3 status.
